All about Autumn
Your Southern Maine Photographer
Each captured moment holds something extraordinary.
Beyond just images, these photographs are portals - transporting you back to experience those cherished feelings and memories all over again.
Thatβs where I come in!
I believe in capturing it all - from your carefully chosen details to those spontaneous, heart-filled moments. Whether it's the sparkle in your eye when you first put on your dress, or you and your friends rushing to dance to 'your song,' I'll document both the thoughtful touches and genuine emotions that make your day special. My goal is to create photos that bring you right back to exactly how each moment felt.
My Story
While I always loved photography, my engineering career left little room to explore it fully. Everything shifted when my daughter arrived - I chose to embrace a slower pace as a stay-at-home mom, which unexpectedly opened the door to pursue this long-held passion. That's how Autumn Emma Photography was born, transforming from a distant dream into my true calling.
βThe purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience."

Get to Know Me
The mountains have always been my second home - from childhood to now, you'll find me skiing, mountain biking, or casting a line on any given weekend. Some things never change, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
My TV taste is wonderfully random - from Swamp People to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills to Naruto. I love it all!
I'm a football coach's daughter through and through - ask me anything about running an offense, I dare you!
My engineering mindset and eye for systems brings something unique to photography - it's not your typical background, and that's what makes it special.
Fitness-wise, you'll find me in the weight room or on a peaceful walk - but don't expect me to join you for a run!
Mother Nature doesn't scare me - rain, wind, or shine, I'm out there embracing whatever weather your day brings!
Losing my dad suddenly in 2021 changed everything. It taught me to cherish every moment and gives me a deeper appreciation for capturing those precious images with your loved ones.
I prioritized portrait photographs on my wedding day and here is whyβ¦
After our mountain ceremony, we gave everyone some time to explore with lift passes and Segway tours while we snuck away for photos. We knocked out the family pics in the first hour, then spent over two incredible hours cruising around our favorite spots on the mountain - even taking a chairlift up for some epic shots! Having that time to just be with my new spouse, letting it sink in that we actually just got married, was absolutely magical. While our guests were off having their own adventures (one ambitious couple even hiked the mountain!), we got to slow down and soak in our first moments as newlyweds, getting some amazing photos along the way.
